Unsaturated Polyester Polyol is a reactive aliphatic polyester polymer containing carbon–carbon double bonds (C=C) and terminal hydroxyl groups. It is synthesized by polycondensation of unsaturated dibasic acids (such as maleic anhydride) and polyols. With both hydroxyl reactivity and cross-linkable unsaturated bonds, it can react with isocyanates or vinyl monomers. It features high strength, chemical resistance, fast curing and adjustable toughness, widely applied in modified polyurethane, UV-curable materials and composite resins.
